Next Diablo 4 Ship of Hate The patch notes are here, and they’re quite long. The latest update for this ARPG focuses primarily on fixes, addressing some of the larger issues, but also making some welcome changes to recurring issues, such as the constant proliferation of gem shards. In addition, Blizzard has also prepared for the mid-season patch of Diablo 4 Season 6, making improvements to the Legion event and Kurast Undercity. There’s still a lot to dig into, so here are the most important changes.
The new Diablo 4: Hateship patch notes contain a ton of bug fixes, but there are a few key points to point out. First, two major problems were solved. The cap on gem shards has been “significantly increased,” which should prevent you from ending up with them scattered on the floor without being able to collect them. The damage required to knock you off your mount has also been increased, meaning you’re less likely to be forcibly dismounted when traveling around in the final stages of the RPG.
Undercity of Kurast has received some of its biggest improvements. The rare Portal Prankster Chest is now affected by active bargaining for that round’s event. Bargains that did not properly guarantee rewards should now guarantee rewards, and you will no longer be able to skip to the end of an Undercity run and claim rewards without participating. Also resolved a powerful exploit that allowed you to repeatedly replace embedded gems for additional benefits while your device was locked to content.
The Legion event that felt a bit forgotten in Hateship will now give you bonus loot and Zakarum Ruins reputation upon completion, making you even more valuable. However, Realmwalkers will be knocked down a little slower because their health has been doubled, and you’ll see an additional wave of Bloodborne Guardians appear in a single encounter. Blizzard also fixed an issue that made it awkward to attack Guardians with some melee structures.
On the balance front, there are some fixes that remain to be seen. The Druid’s Shard should now target enemies correctly, the Necromancer’s Harvest Lotus aspect will now work with the “Cut off chance of dealing double damage” perk, and the Rogue won’t accidentally and mysteriously lose the Knife Dance charge.
In addition to the most noteworthy update, we’ve also made a much-needed fix to the Glacier Fissure bug, which could prevent Ice Beasts from spawning if you tried to re-summon them too quickly, wasting your precious Distillation fear. If you’re using a Necromancer with Blood Lance, Bone Storm, Corpse Explosion or Severing, or a Wizard with Incinerate or Teleport, you’ll be happy to know that you can now correctly have stronger Big Affixes appear on them on each of them. “Skills have a chance to deal double damage” slot.
Diablo 4 patch 2.0.4 will be released on Tuesday, October 29th. It’s worth noting that while there are some bug fixes for Spiritborn, there are no change In this update, we take a look at the most flawed interactions that led to the class’s dominance in Season 6. Blizzard may still be considering whether to keep things as they are as it prepares the upcoming mid-season patch notes, which will be available alongside another developer livestream to check out the changes.
